There are no treatments for COVID-19 at this time. Most symptoms involve a moderate flu-like illness that resolves within 7 days. Treatment is similar to over-the-counter remedies for the common cold, including ibuprofen or tylenol, cough suppressants, hydration, and rest.
If you are not having severe symptoms, it is recommended to stay at home to avoid exposing others as most people recover without the need for medical care. Zoom can partner with you in your recovery, and provide guidance and support if your illness doesn't recover as expected.
If you develop more severe symptoms, such as significant shortness of breath, wheezing, or light-headedness, it is recommended that you seek local emergency care. If possible, call your local ER to inform them of your arrival before you arrive.
